On the contrary, owning cats has been associated with several health benefits in the research. The research revealed decreased risk of a range of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks.



A cuddle session with our feline companions will positively influence our mental health as well. For example, it has the potential to subdue anxiety. Melanie Greenberg, a renowned psychologist, suggests that cuddles with your pet kitty could boost the production and release of oxytocin. Oxytocin is what we refer to as the “love” hormone. This will help reduce your stress significantly and make you calmer.
